Paropakar Maternity and Women's hospital is one of the Public hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal. It delivers clinical services like maternity, maternal and neonatal intensive care, infertility, urogynecology, family planning and other services. Currently 415 beds are running with 65 admissions and 52 deliveries per day. Installing oxygen plant will help to supply the pure oxygen for 415 beds, ICU and operation theaters. At today date, 8000 oxygen cylinders, 8000x 475.00 Nrs= Nrs 38,00,000.00 are consumed per year by the hospital which is assumed to be rise by 16000 cylinders within few years. So, to overcome the purchase of 16000 cylinders, we porpose to help oxygen generator plant to the hospital, by which hospital will be able to save Nrs.38,00,000.00 per year which can be spend on other free services to the people. So, this will be very beneficial and fruitful . Once oxygen plant is installed it can be used for 10-15 years. Since Nepal is suffering from political in-stability and boarder blockage, the immediate purchase of the oxygen cylinders has become difficult. If the hospital is able to generate oxygen itself, it will save thousands of lives.
