The hospital Sao Jose in Barra Bonita, is the only hospital in this area. The hospital attend the city of Barra Bonita and Iguaraçu do Tiete, the population of those two cities are something like 62.000 people. Today the hospital attend 6.000 urgency, 300 surgeries and 50 new born ever month. Some times during a surgery power goes out and we have to transport the patient to another hospital near by Jau, which is located 25 kilometers far. The main equipment needed right now is a back up generator to run the the hospital since the electricity goes out often
This generation also will help run other vitals things in the hospital.
The local Rotarians are involved in this hospital and the hospital has a team that will maintain the equipment

Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
