Proposal Form

To empower Salvadorans to care for Salvadoran children by furthering the development of a pediatric cardiac surgery, catherization and aftercare program in El Salvador by supporting the Salvadoran team with the following:

Funding 4 scheduled missions where the Salvadoran pediatric cardiac team will operate on 5 children in 5 days on each mission independent of a visiting team.

Fund supplies and medications necessary to complete 20 open heart surgeries.

Fund Physician Fees for Salvadoran healthcare professionals completing the 20 surgeries.

The Beneficiaries will be 20 Salvadoran children with heart disease.

This is a program that was started in 2010 and since 2015 the Salvadoran Team has treated 1115 children.

Our goal is to ensure the dedication of a pediatric cardiac unit at Hospital Bloom with a dedicated budget, staff and Director and eventually support the treatment of 250 children.
