Project Description Region: Asia Country: Philippines Location: Batangas Total Budget: $130,000 Area of Focus: Community economic development Needs : A new RCC is to be registered., and a group of 15 members of RCC will start the operation of Hollow Block making industry. The group will market the product in the local and nearby community and proceeds can develop new opportunities for the members and earn a living for their families. Other income will be use for maintenance and daily operating cost. Timeline of the project is around 3 months for the preparation, a small lot 1000 sq.m. will be donated by a Rotarian., we hope to find a global partner who can help us finance the project. Hollow block making machine is a semi automatic machine that can produce at least 3,000 CHB every day. Funding can be thru a Global Partner/s, DDF sharing, and thru the Rotary Foundation Grants. The Rotary Club of Rosario will monitor the growth of the industry and will be responsible in preparing a yearly financial report to the Rotary Foundation Chair. The club will also be responsible in the future growth of RCC, thereby contributing assistance for the community., focusing on the alleviation of poverty, support other area of focus soon as the industry shows its strength.
