It is the goal of the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City North to be active in the pursuing the best in terms of literacy. This proposal will ensure the students of the Zamboanga City Divisions to be prepared for life after high school. The use of technology, especially the Technical and Vocational Courses is now a reality of daily life.
TechVoc Equipment are needed by the Maria Clara Lorenzo Lobregat Memorial High School . The equipment will be utilized as TechVoc Classrooms for the Senior High School and Technology and Livelihood Education classes. We want to help the students become comfortable with basic TechVoc Courses by providing them with equipment for Cookery, Bread and Pastry, Agriculture, Dressmaking and electrical tools and improve their laboratory area where they can conduct their TechVoc classes. In doing this, students will gain confidence in their skills and be able to express their creativity more freely. Because the students enjoy working with the equipment, they will also work hard on their assignments and take great pride in the high-quality work they create. This kind of motivation is invaluable and carries over into all aspects of a student's life. It will help students learn the skills and self-confidence they need to realize their dreams and become a life-long learner.
In order to meet the needs of the diverse student of Maria Clara Lorenzo Lobregat Memorial High School, a worthwhile and hands-on training is essential to experience the real world of work. As members of Rotary Club of Zamboanga City North, we are requesting funding to provide TechVoc equipment for the use of the students
The Rotary Club of Zamboanga City-North will help provide funding in the special niche that our program is trying to address. Partnering with a very strong organization would allow our team to provide solutions for our students while achieving the agency's goals, mission and vision.
