To provide a well for a farm. We will be partnering with Living Water Christian Mission. They have over 250 acres, and much of this land is very fertile farm land. The farm, when in full operation, will employ many Haitian families as "share croppers." These families will provide manual labor and security over the property. The harvest from the farm will serve two purposes. One purpose will be to serve school meals to over 700 students and teachers every school day. For some students, this is their only meal. The second will be to produce product to be sold at market. This would allow the farms to eventually become self sufficient. This project will provide water to numerous families, the farm land, and as a by product allow the families to create a self-supporting farm through selling of product.

Dropped
This project has been "Dropped". Check the history log entries to see why it was dropped.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
