Visually challenged children pursuing higher education get their reference books converted to Braille through this press Besides academic books Braille press publishes general literature - fiction and nonfiction in five languages- Marathi, Gujarati, Hindi, English and Sanskrit Presently they have only one Braille Printing Press. They urgently need a high speed Braille Printing Press as they print more than one crore pages in a year Specification of Braille Press (Refer enclosed Catalogue) Advanced Inter point Braille Printer for large volume production Braillo 600 SR or Equivalent Printing Speed: 600 characters per second (approx. 1800 printed pages per hour) Prints simultaneously on both sides of paper; Built in Cutter Total Cost of the project: $ 120,000 Time required to implement the project after finances are tied up: 6 Months approx.
