Majority of community schools in Nepal lacks practical education especially in Information & Technology and Science . Most of the students complete the school leaving certificate without seeing computer and science lab.Due to which student don't learn much about computer and science properly which reflects in their higher education.This is the one of the main reason the students from community schools don't perform well in higher education and have to be backward .The Nepal earthquake2015 created the condition bad to worst due to collapse of the infrastructures.

In the Kavre district of Nepal, the situation is same like in other parts of Nepal.Especially in secondary and higher secondary schools where many children study have very poor computer lab and not at all the science lab.Rotary club of Dhulikhel have identified following schools for computer lab,science lab,desks & benches,projector and laptop.

Altogether there are 1689 students from below 7 schools where majority of student of the region study.

1.Shree Ganesh Primary School-Jyamdi

2.Mahendra Higher Secondary School-Sanga,

3.Shree PurnaSanjiwani Lankhanamai Higher Secondary School-Dhulikhel,

4.Hanuman Higher Secondary Secondary School-Patlekhet,

5.Kali Devi Secondary School-Batasee ,

6.Binayak Bal Secondary School,BadalGaw-Dhulikhel,

7.Sarswoti Secondary School,BadalGaw-Dhulikhel.

The objectives of Rotary School Support Project Nepal are:

1. To enhance the quality education through practical knowledge.

2. To enhance practical skills of students.

Rotary School Support Project will support the setup of computer lab,science lab , library and desks & benches which will help the student to gain practical knowledge on computer and science.And also student will learn more from library service.

Fund will be used for following items:

1.Setup of 4 Science Labs

2.Setup of 1 Library

3.Setup of 4 Computer Lab (50 computers,50 computer tables,50 computer chairs)

4.Purchase of 15 desks and benches, 1 Laptop and 1 Projector.

5.Transportation of Items

6.Monitoring
