Project Description

Region: South-East Asia

Country: Thailand

Location: Northeastern region

Total Budget: $68,000

Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment

The key objectives of this GG project are to address:

1) Health promotion, educational outreach programs, and basic prevention needs of community members,

2) Immediate needs for curative care beds to accommodate hospitalized patients in their community areas.

In providing healthcare preventive education and supplying community hospitals with safe and functional curative care beds, the project will significantly lower health risk factors and limit the necessity for individuals to commute to larger cities for medical care, thus reducing their burden and expenses on health care.

Community members' ready access to proper prevention services and treatments, with added provision of modern curative care beds, will contribute to reducing unnecessary hospital days and saving patient's lives.

Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
