Around 700,000 lost the source of livelihood after NepalEarthquake2015 .People are struggling to come to normal situation financially. Especially women are more in trouble due to socio-economical structure of Nepal. They are the most who faced the problems. Since, Nepal is rich in bio-diversity it has many cash generating natural raw materials which has high demand in Nepal and abroad. Utilizing the local resource with local skills can help to regenerate the new source of livelihood in sustainable way.Local fibers which have health benefit can be used in making different wearing items like Coat, cap , scarfs,shoes, bags etc

Project Goal:To empower vulnerable & earthquake victims women through economic empowerment.

Target Group: Vulnerable & earthquake victims women of Dang District of Western Nepal

Total Number of Beneficiary: Directly more than 250 and indirectly community as a whole.

Project Objectives

1.To empower the women through training.

2.Creating employment opportunity.

Fund will be used in following way:

1.Purchase of Equipment.

2.Training on processing the local plant for fibers.

3.Basic Sewing Training.

4.Garment Sewing Training.

4.Training on Sewing Shoes, Slipper, Underwear, Coat etc

Member Rotarian of Both Host and International Club will be involved in following way:

Host Club:

1.Need Assessment.

2.Project Implementation.

3.Project Monitoring and Evaluation.

4.Financial Management of Project.

5.Report writing

International Club

1.Fundraising.

2.Help in report writing.

3.Information Dessimination to own club and district who have supported the project.
