The Nigiris is a hilly backward district with a population of less than a million, primarily tribals dependent on agriculture. Only seven Haemodialysis machines are available in the district to cater to the entire population of people suffering from Chronic Kidney failure. This leads to a massive waiting list, and to people travelling outside the district for dialysis.
Establishment of 5 dialysis machines in space donated by a hospital will help cater to the poor who are unable to travel for dialysis. This will reduce the economic burden and provide relief to a vast portion of the suffering population.
Our club has raised USD 10000 and the district has assured USD 20000.We are looking for an international partner club / district to raise USD 15000 .
We are looking for a Club partner. Click here to pledge support for this project. Recording a pledge will make you the Primary International Partner for this project.
Project Status
Dropped
This project has been "Dropped". Check the history log entries to see why it was dropped.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
