Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Maternal and child health
Proposal objectives: The proposal presented has the objective to availability hospital equipments to enlarge the ICU cardiac pediatric of Santa Casa Hospital ,with ten new hospital beds in the city of Belo Horizonte, aiming to increase the capacity for child attendance with heart disease who needs to be hospitalized in ICU.
Impact and community benefited: The Santa Casa Hospital is the largest provider of our country in number of pediatric surgeries sponsored by the Public Health System.Demonstrating the best results in accomplishing this procedure , the institution was accredited by the National Department of Health to offer surgeries all around the national territory. Patients from 694 of 853 counties in the state of Minas Gerais were admitted in Santa Casa Hospital , in 2.016 , for clinic hospitalization and surgeries , including surgeries such as day-hospital system.The rotarians will be represented by owr rotarian Danielle Murta who is a lawyer and since the hospital has been working since 1946, they have all the support from doctors,nurses and complementary equipment.
Part of the funds will be donated from our own district(DDF) and other two clubs.
