Project Description Region: Africa Country: Kenya Location: Nakuru County Total Budget: $95,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy The school bus will be used to transport children with disability and poor health to school. Children with disability and poor health are denied opportunity to education because they cannot afford to walk for miles to school. Some communities hides their children in house when they are born with disability. This is not only inhumane but also denies them their fundamental rights to education and health. Once enrolled in school they will be picked in the morning and dropped in the evening back home after the classes.
