To provide the skills for employment, alleviate poverty and promote peace, the "Cooking for Life" project aims to provide education and develop culinary skills for 100 indigent men and women from depressed communities in Quezon City. The"Cooking for Life" training program shall be conducted in partnership with the Culinary Foundation Inc, for a period of 66 days/batch of students. The requested grant shall be used to cover tuition fees; uniforms and basic kitchen tools(knife set, kitchen clogs,hairnets etc.); transportation allowance and other project management expenses. The screening of project beneficiaries shall be conducted by the Rotary Club of Sto. Domingo as well as the monitoring of the performance of each participant to ensure completion of the program. The project will run from September 2018 to end of June of 2019. A graduation for each batch shall be made, and monitoring of program graduates shall be done by both the Rotary Club of Sto. Domingo and the Culinary Foundation, Inc.To date, graduates of the "Cooking for Life" program are employed as chef or cooking staff in both local and international food industry. Presently, screening of beneficiaries is on-going.

Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
