Project Description Region: South America Country: Brazil Location: Flores da Cunha Total Budget: $200,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment OBJECTIVES: Acquisition of a CT scanner for the Diagnostic Imaging Center, replacing it, since the current device is more than 10 years old, covers the basics of the exams and does not meet the demand that the hospital has today. The agility and the complexity will be a differential for a life, for example Angiotomography exams. This test makes it possible to diagnose stroke, one of the main causes of death in the municipality and region. OBJETIVOS: Aquisição de um aparelho de tomografia computadorizada Multi-Slice de 16 canais, para o Setor de Centro de Diagnostico por Imagem, em substituição, pois o aparelho atual tem mais de 10 anos, cobre o básico dos exames e não atende a demanda que o hospital tem hoje. A agilidade e a complexidade serão um diferencial para uma vida, por exemplo exames de Angiotomografia. Este exame possibilita diagnosticar o AVC, uma das principais causas de óbitos no município e região.
