Project Description Region: South America Country: Brazil Location: Araraquara Total Budget: $31,157 Area of Focus: None View Online Proposal Form GLAUCOMA TREATMENT The acquisition of equipment model Laser SLT LIGHTLAS DEUX YAG/SLT - LIGHTMED for treatment of Glaucoma will benefit all patients from 25 cities in the region of Araraquara, state of São Paulo, with diagnosis of glaucoma and in treatment with eye drops will benefit from this Project. This project aims at the creation of a regional reference center for the treatment of glaucoma in order to improve the logistics of patient referral and treatment currently offered by the State, as well as reduce treatment costs by using optimized clinical protocols for public service with utilization and incorporation of selective laser trabeculoplasty in the public healthcare service.
