Pachkhal Municipality has around 40061 populations. Through Pachkhal municipality one of the main highway of Nepal, Arniko highway passes. Panchkhal municipality has three important rural town viz TamaGhat, Zero Kilo & Palanchwok .These places are main trading center and crowded one.

Though these towns of Pachkhal Municipality are crowded and have rural market, there is not a single public toilet at all. Vehicles passengers who stop there for toilet have to go to bushes or search the places for toilet .Everyday thousands of passengers and people come and go to town .Lack of public toilet not only created the problems for people visit the town but also due to open toilet it created the big concern on public health.

Objectives of the projects

• To provide the proper toilet service to the public.

• Prevent the diseases caused by open toilet or defecation.

• Keep the city clean and healthy.

Three public toilets will be constructed at three different location of Pachkhal Municipality viz Tamaghat, Zero Kilo & Palanchowk.The toilet will be embedded with good drainage & water management system to ensure the easy and safe use of toilets. Besides construction of toilet , program to encourage people to use public toilet will be launched.

Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
