The exponential growth of the elderly population in Brazil and consequently the increase of the life expectancy and the number of people living with chronic diseases and a relevant problem with regard to the health system of the country. Integrative and Complementary health practices, envisaged by the WHO, propose comprehensive care and quality of life for the elderly. The purpose of this project is to implement a Health Practices Center that serves the elderly population for the prevention of chronic pain, mental illness, inadequate reduction of medication use and the adequacy of the space provided by the institution and equipment for the development of work by specialists from the Federal University of the Triangulo Mineiro (UFTM).
