Problem Identification

81 % of Nepali people live in rural areas. With rural areas not able to provide enough opportunities for people to sustain their lives, the burden of supporting the poor and rural population falls increasingly upon cities. The migration of rural men to urban areas & abroad leaves unbalanced family structures behind, with women, children and elderly expecting remittances.Lack of proper income & depending upon men for income have brought problem in family . Not able to invest in food, education & health.

Rise in women violence & gender disparity due to financial reason.Local resources are wasted for nothing .Market is waiting for rural product due to organic nature.

Program Goal: To contribute to poverty reduction through entrepreneurship

development-with a focus on rural development and gender equality.

The essential elements in this programme are to create a business environment

that encourages the initiatives of rural and women entrepreneurs and to

enhance the human and institutional capacities required to foster entrepreneurial dynamism and enhance productivity.
