In the municipality of General Salgado, approximately 150 children are born annually, by normal delivery or cesarean delivery. Since Santa Casa is the only hospital in the city, and since about 6 years ago it no longer does these procedures in the city, since the Surgical Center is inactive, these mothers who need to "give birth" to their children need to look for hospitals of other cities, which puts at risk the mothers and their children, because they take risks in the trips on roads and by the inconvenience in displacements at distances of more than 30 km. If the project is implemented, around 150 pregnant mothers will be able to attend our city, avoiding trips to other cities, which always causes inconvenience, especially the risk of traffic accidents. Project will start in March 2019, with completion scheduled for December 2020. Total project cost: US $ 34,876.00, with the support of the Rotary Club General Salgado, District 4,480 and support from the Rotary Club of the District Abroad, to which we seek this partnership. Club members will assess the needs of the community supported by the project. Accompany the preparation and implementation of the Project. Track project budget. Financially support the Project. Monitor the project.
