Sariaya Quezon is one of the first class municipalities in the province of Quezon. but besides its category as one of the booming town in quezon, there are still many less fortunate people that needs help/assistance to make a sustainable living. The project rotary wheels aims to provide livelihood program or assistance to at least 20 less fortunate family thru micro-financing/lending that can be used as their starting capital.
The project will be called rotary wheel
The family will be given initial capital to put up small business and they will be also given a motorcycle with sidecar for them to be able to roam around (ambulant vending) the town with their choice of products to sell that could result as source of their livelihood. the project can help them make a good living thru their income from selling and. After one (1) year they will return the money (capital) to the host club with 12 percent interest and the returned money will then be given to another family to be identified by the project or by the host rotarian.
The project needs support from fellow rotarians and other individuals willing to support the project.
beneficiaries will be empowered and will undergo series of capacity building training and will be given training on financial management thru our fellow rotarians and they will be supervised and periodically monitored by the community service and livelihood committee of the host rotarian.
Beneficiaries will be identified with the help of barangay health worker and DSWD and be chosen among the indigent or poor family in the community.
the project aims to start its implementation before christmas season of 2019 (september to november, 2019) for them to be able to start as early as possible to be able for them to experience better christmas.
