Project Description

Region: South America

Country: Brazil

Location: Ivinhema Ms

Total Budget: $31,000

Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment

It is a private philanthropic entity and lives on the

donation of the local community, which are not sufficient for the acquisition of

equipment that allow the most modern and efficient development to treat these students

with the most varied physical disabilities. In general, the equipment acquired with this

Project aims at: postural, kinesthetic and sensorial treatment in children who do not

support the trunk itself.

Swimming pool lift: allows the proper transfer of children in wheelchairs and

dystrophic for physiotherapy in the pool.

Pediasuit (Terno Pedia): postural, kinesthetic and sensorial treatment in children who do

not support the trunk itself.

Being extremely necessary, this project includes specific training for health

professionals.

We also consider that photovoltaic installation is extremely necessary for the pool lift to

work properly without costing much of the cost of electricity and further compromising

the APAE's poor budget.

Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
