Proposal Form

Ilha solteira has garbage collection made by the municipal government in 100% of the city, and the waste is disposed of in a sanitary landfill licensed by inspection agencies. Today, 600 tons / month of organic and recyclable garbage is released in this landfill, although the city has a legally established cooperative that can not collect all the available recyclable garbage. The recyclable garbage is made in several districts of the city, obeying a scale of days of the week, in this collection the City Hall gives an appropriate truck, the cooperative in turn has a driver and the collectors are the cooperatives themselves. Currently the cooperative recycles 40 tons / month.

The purpose of the project is to modernize and expand the capacity of this recycling cooperative in order to collect all the recyclable waste from the city. This will reduce the volume discarded in the sanitary landfill by 30%, in addition to qualifying the cooperates with training and improving their income.1 - the Rotarians responsible for the project. 2-the municipal authorities responsible for the collection and disposal of waste in the landfill. 3-training and hygiene training and hygiene of the cooperative (Sebrae and / or other).

Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
