This project has the main goal to provide clean water for more than 30 thousand people in villages located in a district in Mozambique. 7 wells (U$ 7100 each) will be digged to specialized company.
The project began with some visit in these dry places and the necessities were checked. We can note that they can 'survive' in one of the poorest situation around the world.
After visiting, we decided to help some of these villages, because clean water is the first necessity of a person. We checked the viability to implement these wells and we discovered that it can be possible . So, with some partners from some clubs of Rotary in Brazil, India, a partner in Chimoio/Mozambique and other that can help us, we are sure that we can implement this project and improve their lives with clean water.
Clubs from Brazil are writing the project and Chimoio's club will implement it.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
