The Cataract Surgery Equipment Procurement Project will be implemented at the Clinics Hospital in the city of Jataí, Goiás, Brazil, which serves a population of 250,000 inhabitants from 10 cities. Today there is a waiting line of 2,568 people over the age of 40 who need cataract surgery. With the purchase of equipment, the hospital can perform surgery on patients waiting in line.
