Project Description Region: South America Country: Brazil Location: Porto Alegre - RS Total Budget: $50,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment The House of Exceptional Santa Rita de Cássia, a non-governmental organization informally established in 1977 and registered with the Special Registry in 1978, had its origin in the need to fill the gap in attention in the Shelter Program (Today Institutional Reception) for children and adolescents with Multiple Disabilities (Neurolesionate) presenting global developmental delay and totally dependent on third parties in AVDS-Daily Life Activities The house of Exceptional Santa Rita de Cássia is an institution that has been operating for 42 years and serves a total of 32 people with various physical and cognitive limitations.
