The Cozinha Escola APAM (Association for the Protection of Maternal Love of Paranavaí) will serve 130 vulnerable family chefs annually, primarily women, offering vocational courses, with certification for the labor market, Practical and Entrepreneurial Cooking, and also course of Course of Event Waiters. APAM has been serving pregnant women in situations of vulnerability or social risk since 2011 and found that such a social condition is directly linked to the lack of professional training and entrepreneurial vision.
In a research conducted with the beneficiaries of APAM, it was found that professionalization in the area of food and event services meets the needs of the independent community of gender, age or school education and is a great opportunity for the individual enterprise.
Rotary Paranavaí Sandstone is a partner of the APAM community in the goal of overcoming social vulnerability and is involved in planning, financing, monitoring, and evaluating the project.
There will be 10 vocational courses with a 30-hour hour load and a professional certificate. The subsidy will equip the kitchen and activity rooms with furniture, equipment and utensils, as well as the insums for the realization of the courses and uniforms. It will also support the hiring of graduate professionals.
