Project Description Region: South-East Asia Country: Cambodia Location: near Siem Reap Total Budget: $110,000 Area of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene Provide safe and reliable drinking water to approximately 5000 people in six villages through installation of 60 deep water bores/wells. The villagers suffer many consequences of consuming bad water gather from many surface ponds - gastro being dominant. Rotary will work will accredited Cambodian NGO Build Your Future Today (BFT). BFT has a four year plan to support villages from poverty to a level of self sustainability. Covid 19 restrictions will preclude members from being involved in the construction works but will be involved in design and monitoring delivery performance.
