This project will provide lifesaving cardiac surgery for approximately 43 needy Egyptian children at Cairo University Hospital.
These children will be screened and selected from the most impoverished areas of Egypt where currently no care is available for them. All surgeries will be performed by Rotarian and Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon- Dr Hesham Shawky and non Rotarian Pediatric Surgeons- Dr. Tarek Salah, Dr. Hussam Hassanein, Dr. Hesham El Kadi and Dr. Ehab El Sharkawi.
