We are seeking for partners to modernize the following laboratories: Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Catering Technology, Introductory Technology and Home Economics at Immaculate Heart Comprehensive Senior and Junior High Schools, Maryland, Lagos, Nigeria.

These projects are to leverage on the achievement of our club for donating modern Chemistry Laboratory to the Senior School during the 2019-2020 Rotary year which has impacted on the performance of the Chemistry students to achieve 100% success during the 2020-2021 government examination. The value of the Chemistry laboratory project was $15000.

Doing the same to other laboratories will provide the students with complete modern laboratories for effective science subjects teaching and learnings.

These projects will assist the students to:

*. Develop Scientific reasoning abilities.

*. Increase understanding of the

complexity and ambiguity of empirical

work.

*. Develop practical skills.

*. Increase understanding of the nature of

science.

*. Cultivate interest in science and

science learning.

*. Improve teamwork abilities.

The community will produce educated workforce that will be able to cope with modern technological trends. Total number of students that will be impacted with this projects are 2131 every year. They represent as many household in the community. The schools serves students within 5-10 kilometers radius which includes Onigbongbo, Mendes, Wasimi, Anthony, Ojota, Oregun, Ketu, and Mile 12 communities.

The projects has no timeline until it is funded and executed.

The project fund will be use to pay the vendor who will be responsible for executing the project.

Club members will monitor the process of construction making sure that the vendor keep to time frame for the project and all equipments and materials are supplied.
