Firm steps against clubfoot with Rotary is a medical program whose objective is to prevent disability during adult life in children born with "club foot" which is a congenital defect, a defect that is presented as a deformation of tendons in one or both feet in newborn children and if it is not treated in time it causes a disability throughout the patient's life, the type of treatment that will be applied to patients through this subsidy allows correcting the congenital defect and providing a quality of disability-free life.

The assigned treatment depends on the type of deformity and may consist of correction through orthoses, and in a good percentage of cases, corrective surgery must be performed together with orthoses and physiotherapy treatment. It is important to recognize that parents must be aware that a treatment of this nature can take months, even more than a year, so that within comprehensive treatment and as part of sustainability, a training program for parents is contemplated. of family, since in a considerable number of cases, the parents for ignoring the treatment process fall into despair and abandon the treatment without completing the correction of the congenital defect, through an adequate follow-up it is intended to maximize the number of patients who lead to Good end to the procedure.
