- The APAE-Association of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional of Campo Mourão, was founded on April 17, 1974, by a group of people concerned and in solidarity with the cause of the cause of disabled people. For 48 years, APAE de Campo Mourão has a history traced by many challenges, obstacles, struggles, but also for countless achievements and great advances in the areas of Social Assistance, Education and Health, always seeking to guarantee the promotion, the achievement of independence, autonomy, quality of life and inclusion of people with disabilities and their your families. There are currently 700 people with intellectual, multiple and autistic disabilities enrolled in the services offered by APAE.
- Since 2005, APAE has been recognized by the Ministry of Health as a Qualification and
rehabilitation, its action in this policy is based on LOS - 8.142/90 Ordinance nº 1635 of 2002. The team is made up of more than 20 professionals, all of whom have completed higher education. In the year 2021 there were 21,590 procedures/services were performed. The Health area is one of the most calls, being totally free and continuous.
- For this partnership, we requested the revitalization of one of the areas of the Health policy, the outpatient clinic physiotherapy, in the acquisition of new and current equipment, materials, games, furniture, data processing equipment and training. The physiotherapy sector has not been acquires new and current equipment, what you have is little and outdated, despite all the maintenance, many have already stopped working.
- The physiotherapy sector currently has three physiotherapists who serve 137 people/month and one
average of 540 procedures/month.
- The present project is justified, since the demands are urgent and important, and the non-fulfillment of these, can cause damage to the quality of the service offered, something that does not match
with the mission that the institution is dedicated to upholding.
- APAE is concerned with and contributes to achieving the SDGs - Sustainable Development Goals, always striving to ensure a healthy life, promoting the well-being of all people with disabilities of all ages, offering services and giving people with disabilities access, permanence and continuity of health services.
