In Kenya the Government already included computer lessons and recently computer coding in its curriculum for secondary school and primary school; however many schools in low-income neighborhood's do not have computers and other learning tools to boost their education. This digital divide has affected individual students across counties, lowering the academic outcomes of those in low-income communities. RC Nairobi Muthaiga North propose a project to equip five schools in low-income communities with a computer laboratory for digital literacy, Book Library to boost early reading and writing skills
In Africa 80% of children don't have access to clean drinking water opening them up to diseases and increasing mortality to 40%. The project will address this by putting up Hand-wash stations, Water tank and rain water harvest Gutters in each of the schools. With this project, about 100% of the School going children, 70% of the children in the community will access clean drinking water and reduce the mortality by over 85%.
The project will open-up equal opportunity for over 1,600 pupils. The children are the future. We continue to encourage them to be part of the Zero Carbon Journey by Sensitization through trainings on Water utilization, Proper Waste Management, Energy Consumption and Tree planting
In Partnering with RC Nairobi Muthaiga North on this project , you are making a lasting and sustainable impact in the future of our world... (The future generations)
