Rotary Club of Avinashi chartered in the year 1975 is one of the oldest club in Dist 3203 with 54 members , It is one of the front runner clubs of our district actively involved in serving the local community , There are several ongoing projects which cater to the deprived sections of the society.
Project Happy Schools is a project for Supplying of Interactive Smart Touch Boards, Computers, Desks & Benches for 8 Government Schools & 1 Government College located in the rural backward area which mainly caters to the Backward & underprivileged Community Students , Providing Smart Boards gives them the opportunity to learn & understand new concepts easily . They will also have hands on experience on the Techniques with the Interactive Touch Facility . Providing Computers will enable them to learn Basic Usage of Computers , Simple Codings etc which will also help them with their Job opportunities . The Schools also lack proper seating facility for which Desks & Benches will be provided .
The Project is to supply 13 Interactive Smart Boards , 20 Computers, 246 Sets of Furniture which will cater the needs of 2980 Students studying in 10 Government Schools & 1 Government College around Avinashi all in the rural areas.
