$1,000,000 WASH Project - (Water + Sanitation + Hygiene)

Sacramento Rotary will match Clubs Dollars 100% where that club provides Donor DDF

Multiplier is 5.6 times cash, one of the largest multipliers on Rotary Projects

• Multi generation sustainability designed into the project

• Servicing 14,500 people, 13 communities, 10 schools, 5 healthcare facilities and 2 Sanitation Systems

Goals - WASH Changes Lives

• Building a Network of Districts Focused on WASH

• Create increased opportunities and partnerships with Worldwide NGOs

Partnership with World Vision Honduras

• Our project includes the largest & most experienced WASH NGO in the world

• World Vision matches Rotary Funds with another $400,000, making this Project Reach the 5.6 Multiplier

• World Vision has 30 years of experience, successfully implementing 19 projects in Western Honduras, and WASH teams in 100 countries

• In addition, 6 other US Rotary Districts are participating

Local Honduran Club

• RC Santa de Copan's 3rd $800,000 WASH Project

• Sets up local participation by government monitoring, management and upkeep

• Educates the village leaders on sanitation and hygiene

• Frees up ability of girls fetching water, to mandate the completion of their education

• Local villagers involved in digging the trenches and assisting in construction

Total Ask

• $36,000 to $40,000, and matching DDF funds to finish our fund raising
