Project Description Region: South America Country: Venezuela Location: La Macanilla, Edo Apure Total Budget: $61,512 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Maternal and child health, Basic education and literacy, Community economic development The objective of this project is to find funds (USD 61.512) for the basic furniture and equipment of La Coromoto II School located in La Macanilla, Edo. Apure, Venezuela. La Coromoto School is under construction right now with and ETC September 2023. Actually, the school is located in an isolated area call Caño La Pica, with no direct access to all the community. Due to this, Asopica starts the construction of a new and bigger school in La Macanilla, with a capacity of 150 children and will impact more than 900 families of the Yaruro-Pumé native community. The building also will serve as a community center and to provide basic health care for the community.
