ACTIVITIES

Coordination and Review. Monthly reports (12) on project results, management and accounting. They manage and control the resources during the execution time of the project.

1 Technical Guide for the separation at the source of Usable and Clean Organic Solid Waste aimed at homes and organizations of La Fachada. Indispensable guide for households and for the community company (association) through which 24 families will generate income and print the sustainability of the Solid Waste recovery process and its use and treatment.

24 Extension workers (women and men) trained as environmental agents in solid waste management. They will have training and comprehensive training in organic solid waste and its use and treatment for 3 months.

Separation process at the source in homes and organizations and classification and packaging by the community enterprise to exploit the use. Tests or exercises of separation, transport, in compliance with routes, classification and packaging will be carried out to deliver to the buyer, for 2 months.

An organization made up of women and men from the community for the use of solid waste, trained in entrepreneurship, operation and administration of business units. The 24 Environmental Extensionists will have 5 months of training in setting up and starting up the company, its registration or formalization, the control and accounting of income and expenses, as well as teamwork and management of the company's bodies.

10 Pilot tests through a clean organic solid waste dehydration machine for 100 homes in La Fachada. The 24 extension agents train and carry out the pilot tests, where the organic solid wastes are collected to deliver them to ERA SAS, with the objective of dehydrating them, characterizing them and generating opportunities to produce fertilizers or related products for the agricultural sector.

4 Characterized products derived from the treatment of the dehydration plant, by shipment to specialized laboratories, in charge of characterizing the organic solid waste generated by households and some commercial companies and institutions of La Fachada.

2 Formulas of bio-inputs derived from the treatment of clean organic solid waste for the agricultural sector. The characterization of the mass and the purified liquid results of the dehydration will allow to obtain formulas of bio-inputs to carry out tests in the field.

2 Bio-inputs formulated and validated for agricultural use (orchards, gardens, green areas, green recovery of hillsides and streams). They will be tested in the field and their action verified in crops and indicated sites, in order to propose to the Community Organization of La Fachada, the possibility of producing, with the organic solid waste generated by them, organic products for the agricultural sector. These tests will be carried out for 5 months.

SUSTAINABILITY

The community is the recipient of knowledge and skills development through 24 women and men heads of household, specialized in environmental workshops, with entrepreneurship promotion through the formation of an Association for the proper management of solid waste in the La Fachada neighborhood, increasing their income levels.

The entire community integrates into its culture the proper management of organic solid waste, separating it at the source properly for its use and treatment, organizing its environment and improving the natural and urban landscape by beautifying gardens and slopes of streams, positively impacting the environment, applying the circular economy and reducing health risks due to inappropriate waste management within households and their surroundings and the cultivation of some organic products to improve nutrition.

The constitution of the Community Association by 24 of its members for the proper management of solid waste in the community, its training, feedback and generation of income in the sale of the products resulting from the use and treatment, imprints environmental sustainability, socially and economically of the project.
