Project Description. It is intended to acquire 12 beds for the Pediatrics service of the Fundación San José de Buga (FSJB). This would improve the quality, safety and humanization of pediatric care in this service where children with medical and surgical diseases are treated. The direct beneficiaries will be more than 1,100 children/year. It will also indirectly benefit the entire population of Buga (more than 127,545 inhabitants) and the population of the Northern Subregion of Valle del Cauca (465,618 inhabitants) and the Central Subregion of Valle del Cauca (565,755 inhabitants). All the families of the population served will benefit, who will not have to travel to other cities, without affecting their family, social and economic nuclei.
