Project Description Region: South-East Asia Country: India Location: Kundara Total Budget: $42,100 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy We have located 40 genuine families from slum areas of kundara where about 280 members (100 members aged above 70,who require regular medical care; 100 members middle aged, and unemployed; and another 80 young children who find difficulty to continue their studies due to financial constrains)strive for their daily bread. if we provide one cow for one family of 7 members, this family can earn a mere sum for meeting minimum requirements and that family can be saved. Hence by the above humanitarian project of 40 cows for 40families we can save 280 human lives.
