Project Description Region: Asia Country: India Location: Goa Total Budget: $34,331 Areas of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene, Basic education and literacy It is very important to improve health and hygiene standards in rural schools. Enhance student comfort and learning experience. Ensure safety and security and support girl's education and empowerment. In view of this we have identified few schools and a Girl's Asharam in Goa to bring about the change. Following are our Club's goals for this year where every member of the club will contribute. 1.Construction of a toilet Block each for a school and a girl's ashram, ensuring access to proper sanitation facilities and promoting health and hygiene. 2. Supplying benches and academic chairs to a higher secondary school and a girl's ashram, providing students with comfortable seating and promoting a positive learning environment. 3. Replacing old windows of the school, improving safety, energy efficiency, and overall learning environment. These projects will be completed within six months.
