There is urgent need for residents in Kyaukpadaung Township, in Mandalay Region, Myanmar. Their daily life is full of struggles to access water either by fetching from muddy pond or buying from town. Due to water crisis, the children and local population face health issues over the long time.

The thoughtful design of the project ensures the long-term sustainable solution for their daily challenge of access to clean water and improves life. It maximizes the sustainability and impact of the project funds. It will directly benefit 1600 individuals of 250 households, and indirectly benefit the staff and students, visitors to the village.

Project timeline is approximately 90 days.

Project funds will be used for drilling a tube well of 1000 feet, installation of solar unit, water treatment unit with RO system for drinking water, water storage tank, pipes and accessories, contingency, logistic and travel.

Club members will co-ordinate with purchases, required work, and travel to the project site to oversee the project to completion.
