Matching Grants - Craniotomy
Dear fellow Rotarian, we are looking for a partner to help the community of district 4310, a region with more than 1 million inhabitants.
In the city of Botucatu, located in the central of district 4310, there is a very important hospital, with more than a hundred years, the Misericordia Botucatuense (http://www.misericordiabotucatuense.com.br/), an institution that helps people from Botucatu city and lots of cities around.
Unfortunately the hospital still uses very old equipment for brain surgery, like the photos above that create several problems after the surgery, years and years of headache, lower quality of life and other occasions.
With the Matching Grant will be possible give for the people much modern equipment that will solve lots of problems, and unnecessary visits in the hospital the people who needed to do the surgery.
The hospital is very traditional and will be in charge with all the material and stuff that the Matching Grant will make be possible to bye, even the director of the institution will signed a Term of Responsibility and the Rotarians from Saltinho and Botucatu that works in health care will be also responsible for the maintenance of the new equipment.
Attachment to this document we present the quotation that the professionals of Misericordia Botucatuense did for the new medical material.
We believe that with the Plan Vision of the Future will be possible to make this big investment and the results will be visible and will compensate.
