Mirera Comprehensive School serves over 4,000 learners and has 84 teachers, yet ICT access is extremely limited with 57 obsolete computers in a dusty classroom and no internet connectivity. Only 5 teachers are computer literate. This project will provide a secure, well-sealed classroom with 24 computers, new desks, a printer and projector, as well as training for the students and teachers from our partner, Computers for Schools Kenya. Host Club are involved in the procurement process, as well as the M&E. This will be the fifth DLP Project of RC Nairobi Langata.
