En la actualidad se estima en 8.000.000 a los habitantes de la localidad que pudiesen utilizar dicho equipamiento, muchos de los cuales son vecinos de bajos recursos que no pueden llevar a cabo el diagnóstico y la subsiguiente prevención de las patologías oncológicas.
