Our club Rotary Club of Pandaripuram (club No:24848) in R.I.Dist 3150 is doing yeoman service to the down trodden and socially backward people in our municipal area. We submit herewith the project details relating to rehabilitation of AIDS/HIV infected people in our area
ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE CLUB:
Rotary club of Pandaripuram was charted in the year 1987.It has 74 active members at present and doing lot of community activities in district 3150.We are also one of the best active club in coastal district of RI dist 3150 and we have good reputation in implementing all projects in time. Our club has been undertaking lot of community activities like providing food to old age homes, conducting IOL operations free of cost, under taking women empowerment by providing sewing machines to needy women, giving milching animals to provide lively hood to poor agricultural families, conducting free medical camps and distributing medicines free of cost to poor people. Our club recently under took up a new project of constructing a bus shelter at Ganapavaram village on national high way.
PROJECT DETAILS:
Our club charted during the year 1987 and committed to serve the community through various service activities. We have identified this humanitarian project of rehabilitating AIDS/HIV infected people in Chilakaluripet town. As the chilakaluripet town of Guntur district of Andhra pradesh situated on national high way No:5 and also this place once famous for so called flesh trade or prostitution.After the door to door campaigning about aids in interior places of this prostitutes, we identified that this AIDS/HIV infected people need some rehabilitation in the form of food and medicene.After that our club identified this places conducting medical camps and distributing medicines fee of costs this AIDS infected people need food and medicines for smooth survival of their remaining life.

BENEFICIARIES:
As this rehabilitation ill give ray of hope in life to this AIDS/HIV infected people and this are untouchables in our society and they are unable to come and live life as other people in society.We are also planning to under go some vocational courses to feature lively hood of this so called AIDS viictims.Our club is also planning to educate this prostitutes about ill-effects of deadly disease AIDS and encourage to divert the way of life by providing sewing mechines, handicraft works and so on.If we are not provide helping hand to this aids victims they in lost resort of loosing their valuable life by some other way.We also planning to distribute and propagate more information about deadly viral disease of AIDS.All this people need some way of help for their survival and live as citizen of world.
