The RC Ensenada is planning the provision of medical equipment Dental, to provide various Health Units of Ensenada, to improve health care for low-income population.
The city of Ensenada has a population of about 60,000. A percentage of 10 to 20% of population below the poverty line indicates that between 6,000 and 12,000; not afford to have Health System. Initially, these people are treated on 9 health units from de municipality. Them, they are derived to Horacio Cestino provincial hospital. Existing medical equipment are not sufficient to respond to emergencies that occur in the poorest neighborhoods. Therefore It must derive to the local hospital, with increased risks of life or loss of working hours for patients referred.
The RC proposes to analyze the necessary equipment, resquests for quotes, purchase of equipment, delivery and collaboration of our physicians Rotarians business hours, at no charge to use the new equipment, until the whole is served with our own staff of health units. Training campaigns are conducted in the health units for prevention and treatment of diseases, as well as maternal and child health.
To carry out our project will have to purchase the following items:
• 8 halogen
• 7 Micromotors
• 8 Sterilizing
• 4 cabinet revealed
• 4 dental equipment
• 7 turbines
• 5 compressor
• 1 x-ray machine
