Sahiwal is located in the center of the Punjab,having the population of more then two million where peoples are generally from low to average incom stream.City is having the only one place of recreation for the whole community that is Faridia Park.
Faridia Park was taken as a challenge project by the chartered president Dr.Sohail Qureshi. In 2006 it was barren piece of land garbage and dust all around and a paradise for criminal people nothing for recreation no one dare to visit the place.
Since 2006 RC Sahiwal 101 has adopted this park and struggling to convert real recreational park.
A- Park is secured by a boundary wall
B- Garbage dump almost 156 truck loads taken out from the park
C- Instalation of under ground water system
D- Provision of benches
E- Plantation gala every six month in the park.
Initial funding was raised by the club members.This legacy project is the passion for the club members but this project is suffring becouse of lack of proper funding, requesting you for
A- Portable piping for water
B- Jogging track construction
C- Development of children playing area.
