RC Dharan Ghopa is in one of the oldest town in Nepal "Dharan". It goes to the era of Gods where the Rudrakshya was first propagated. According to the archeological remains it proves more than 1000 years of settlements. The City is growing slowly. There are 27 government schools including a Deaf people's school and Blind people's school. We have arranged 7 schools 30 computers with support from RC Bellevue, Washington, USA. Our city is preparing to announce as a Child Friendly City and our club has unanimously passed to support by providing each government schools with at least 10 Computers so that they can start their computer classes. Dharan Municipality office also has agreed to support on this project. we will need 270 Computers 27 printers 270 tables and accessories. This will make the dropout rate low and attract the poor slum population ( 35000 and more) to attend school and get basic education.
For this we are hoping to search an international club to collaborate us for 3 years plus so that we can make good service and obtain peace in transitional Nepal.
