The areas presented for this water project involves a population of about 2,000 people that can be expanded to cover the needs of others after the system is in place. This project will involve a deep water system with a large reservoir tank and distribution system.
This is some of the poorest area in the city. The general survey of Rotary and the LAMP Medical Network showed a distressed area presenting with health related water borne medical issues. Many residents are bathing using the water from a nearby stream and some had used the stream for drinking water. In areas of poor water supply there are also issues of poor sanitation practices. Poor nutrition is also present in these areas alone with other issues of poorly maintained communities. This project will improve many of these issues and encourage change.
OBJECTIVES
The Objection is in Health intervention by installing a clean water system. It is our mission to provide a lasting solution that can be continued in our investment into our community. This project is designed in partnership with the Barangay Captain: Lorilie Pacquiao and the people of the community. Our assisting agency, "LAMP" { Love Asia Mission Partners } will assist in providing medical related missions, health education and community assistance programs as we make entry on the project.
