Project Description Region: Africa Country: Nigeria Location: Makurdi Total Budget: $30,200 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Water, sanitation and hygiene This project seeks to build and install modern toilet facilities for an old boys' High school. The students are forced to bath outside, behind their dormitories and they pass excreta all around the school due to the absence of toilet facilities. The school's administrators approached us for help, and after an assessment, we agreed to carry this project out, but we lack funds now after completing the sub-structural works of the building. There is a complete breakdown of good hygiene and sanitation in this school and we want to help them, we really do!
